Dante Hall Theater/Richard Stockton College Presents
'A Journey Down An American Music Highwayʼ
A multi-media concert written and performed by Atlantic City native Ruth Wyand
will be at Dante Hall on April 15 at 2 PM
Wyand covers 150 years of American Music from the Civil War to the present.
She performs a composition of various artists such as Steven Foster, W.C.
Handy, Billie Holiday, Hank Williams, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan plus many more
while visually displaying the musicianʼs portraits, performance photos, and other
visually appealing artifacts of their time.
In addition to performing musical renditions from each historical era, Wyand
injects humorous anecdotes and other stories of the singers, songwriters, and
musicians who have made up Americaʼs musical and cultural heritage.
